Golden Lines

Definition of Golden Lines:

A golden line is one sentence that stands out to you from the book.

In addition to reading the book, the only homework you need to complete before our meeting is to send me a golden line from the book.  It’s fine if someone picks the same line you did. Just pick the line that stands out to you the most.

Students share their golden line during the one-on-one conference and parents can email it to me no later than the Monday before our meeting.

Please include the page number for each golden line.

NOTE: The golden line is also one of the ways parents and kids get their names in the prize drawing for each class. The other way is to show up on time for our meeting.
