Getting Out of Simple Sentence Jail With Dashes and More
I’ve been busy preparing curriculum for the students in my one-on-one writing conferences. I’m teaching them how to add details and elaboration to their pieces. I wanted to share this simple handout with you because I learned something new about using DASHES today. Did you know that dashes signal more dramatic information than parentheses? I guess an old English teacher can learn new tricks.
