Do I need writing experience?
Nope. We will guide you through every writing invitation. We are all about positive feedback and sharing our stories.
What if I don’t know anyone coming to the retreat?
The magic of new people gathering around dining room tables is one of the best parts. You will never feel alone or left out. We keep The Ladies’ Table small so no one is lost in the crowd.
Do I have to share my writing?
Nope. Share what you’re comfortable sharing. Being open to sharing will make The Ladies’ Table better, but it’s always up to you.
What do I need to bring?
We provide all materials, but suggest bringing your favorite writing pen or pencil. Some participants like to use their own journals or pads of paper. What we write on is a very personal choice so bring what you love.
How much does the retreat cost?
Each Ladies’ Table afteroon costs $25. 00 per person/per meeting. It’s payable when you register for the class. Payment secures your registration.
Since you only have eight people at each retreat, what are my best chances at getting a spot before it sells out?
Register the moment it opens. For 2026, registration opens May 11th.
Do you have a waiting list if the retreat sells out?
Yes. Contact us and we can add you. (We usually know if there is space available due to cancellations one week prior to the retreat.)
Will I need to prepare anything before the retreat?
No expected preparation, but if there is something little, we’ll email you well in advance.
Will there be food?
We provide flat water, ice tea, fizzy water, and light snacks. If you would like to bring something to share, that’s great but not expected.
Do you have pets? I’m allergic to cats.
Lorrie has a dog, but he will be on a field trip during our meeting.
Where is the Ladies’ Table held?
Upon registration, we’ll send you the address. Lorrie lives near Peninsula High School in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
What if I have to cancel at the last minute? Will you give me a refund?
Refunds are offered one week prior to the retreat (less a processing fee taken by Lorrie’s website platform). After that, no refunds.
